# Mixtuby

> Mixtuby is a free music player for YouTube that runs in the browser (phone, tablet, desktop, TV). It plays YouTube music continuously, organised by mood and activity, with tools YouTube itself does not have. No account and no credit card are needed for the core player.

Mixtuby uses the official YouTube embedded player: it does not download, store or extract audio or video, does not block ads (the YouTube player may show YouTube's own ads), and does not guarantee background or screen-off playback. It needs an internet connection; there is no offline mode. There is no daily listening limit. A free account adds favourites and sync across devices; an optional small subscription adds Workout Mode and a few extra tools.

## What it does

- Continuous playback of YouTube music, with mood and activity playlists (study, focus, sleep, workout, party, rain, 528 Hz and more)
- Crossfade between tracks on desktop (1–30 s), or gapless switching
- A-B loop on any part of a track, and per-track speed from 0.25x to 2x
- Sleep timer (5 min to 2 h, or the end of the track) that fades the music out
- Pomodoro timer over the music: 25/5, 50/10, Flowtime or your own lengths, with a to-do list and a daily streak
- Live radio stations (jazz, classical, latin, Ibiza chillout, country, oriental)
- Karaoke with synced lyrics
- Vibe Mode: a calm full-screen mode with relaxing tools that play over the music (guided breathing, games, light show, starfield)
- Drive & Run: music over a live street map for a phone in a car mount (speed, speed limit from OpenStreetMap, route line) or on a run (distance, time, average pace); location stays on the device
- Import any public YouTube playlist by pasting its link
- Installs as an app from the browser menu
