Share YouTube to Mixtuby
On iPhone, Apple doesn't allow web apps to receive links directly from Share. But you can create a free Shortcut that does exactly that!
Takes 30 seconds and works perfectly.
Result
YouTube → Share → Mixtuby → Song starts automatically
Setup steps
Open the Shortcuts app on your iPhone
It comes pre-installed on iOS. If you deleted it, get it free from the App Store.
Tap + (top right corner) to create a new Shortcut
Name it Mixtuby
Tap the "New Shortcut" title at the top and type "Mixtuby"
Tap ⓘ (info) at the bottom → enable "Show in Share Sheet"
This makes Mixtuby appear when you tap Share in YouTube or other apps.
Add the action "Open URLs"
Tap "Add Action" → search for "Open URLs" → select it.
Set the URL to:
https://mixtuby.com/share?url=[Shortcut Input]
Tap the "URLs" field, clear it, then type exactly: https://mixtuby.com/share?url= and right after add the variable "Shortcut Input" (appears as a suggestion above the keyboard).
Tap Done — that's it!
How to use
1. Open YouTube → pick a video
2. Tap Share (the arrow)
3. Scroll right on the app row → tap Mixtuby
4. Mixtuby opens and the song starts automatically!
Tip: If Mixtuby doesn't show up right away in the Share Sheet, scroll right or tap "More" and enable Mixtuby from the list. Works with any YouTube link — from browser, app, or messages.
