Terms of Service

By accessing and using Mixtuby (mixtuby.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Mixtuby is a web application — free to use in its core features, with optional premium features described in §7.5 and §7.6 — that allows users to create and manage music playlists using YouTube's embedded player. We do not host, download, or store any audio or video content. All media is streamed directly from YouTube via their official Iframe API, in compliance with YouTube's Terms of Service. Mixtuby also offers a private notes and to-do panel with optional one-time reminders, as described in our Privacy Policy. Although Mixtuby is built around music, any public YouTube video can be played through it, and some curated categories are not music — for example "Kids & Cartoons", a set of classic cartoon episodes embedded from the rights holders' own YouTube channels.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Mixtuby — 16 where your country's law sets a higher minimum age for consent to online services, as Romania and parts of the EU do. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By using the service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Mixtuby is not a children's service. The "Kids & Cartoons" category is meant to be operated by an adult choosing what a child in their care watches; it remains subject to these Terms and to YouTube's Terms of Service, and it is not a substitute for supervision. Beyond the optional Screen Lock, Mixtuby provides no parental controls and does not filter the advertising or suggestions YouTube shows around an embedded video.

You may create an account using email/password or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service's operation
• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Circumvent rate limits or security measures
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service

All content played through Mixtuby belongs to their respective copyright holders. Mixtuby does not claim ownership of any third-party content. The Mixtuby interface, design, logo, and code are our intellectual property.

Song lyrics shown in Karaoke and Typing come from LRCLIB, a community-maintained database, and belong to their authors and publishers. Mixtuby holds no licence for them and does not guarantee their accuracy. Rights holders can ask for removal at [email protected]; we remove them promptly.

Vision Board library photos come from Pexels under the Pexels License (credits at /vision-library/CREDITS.md). Photos you add from your device or Google Drive must be ones you have the right to use.

By using Mixtuby, you also agree to be bound by YouTube's Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy. Mixtuby is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.

Advertisements (when shown) are served by YouTube based on their algorithms, your YouTube account status, geographic location, and the video owner's monetization settings — not by Mixtuby. We do not block, modify, or interfere with YouTube ads. Ad presence may vary; you may or may not see ads at any given time.

Playback occurs inside YouTube's official embedded player. Views, watch time, likes, subscriptions and any advertising revenue generated while you listen through Mixtuby are recorded by YouTube against the original creator's channel — not against Mixtuby. We do not aggregate, resell, monetise, or claim credit for that traffic, and we do not artificially inflate or suppress view counts. Any play counters shown inside Mixtuby (for example a "plays" badge on a search suggestion) reflect activity within our own app only and are unrelated to YouTube's public view counts.

Background playback (audio with the screen locked or the app backgrounded) is governed by YouTube, your browser, and your device — not by Mixtuby. On many devices (notably iOS) the embedded player pauses when the screen locks, and YouTube Premium does not change this for third-party sites. Mixtuby does not and cannot guarantee background or screen-off playback, and makes no representation that any subscription (including YouTube Premium) will enable it. For guaranteed screen-off listening, use the official YouTube application.

Mixtuby's optional Workout Mode (premium subscription) provides general fitness coaching, exercise tutorials, and — for users who choose to enable it — menstrual cycle phase predictions to optimize training intensity.

Not medical advice. The fitness, nutrition, and cycle-related content is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Mixtuby is not a contraception tool, fertility planning tool, pregnancy tracker, or medical device.

Consult your doctor before starting any new exercise program, especially if you are pregnant, have a chronic condition (PCOS, endometriosis, heart issues, joint problems), are recovering from surgery, or have any medical concerns. Stop exercising and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, or unusual symptoms.

Cycle predictions are statistical estimates based on standard cycle math (cycle length minus 14 days for ovulation). Actual ovulation, fertile windows, and period dates vary by individual. Do not use these predictions to prevent or achieve pregnancy.

Subscription cancellation: you may cancel the Workout Mode subscription at any time from Profile Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Mixtuby's relaxation tools — including the Baby Sleep Game, Breathe, Meditation, and similar Vibe Mode features, whether free or included in a premium subscription — are provided for general relaxation and entertainment purposes only. Any references to sleep psychology, breathing techniques, or third-party research are informational and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and are not a substitute for professional care.

Guided meditation. Mixtuby's Meditation sessions — written scripts and third-party voice recordings hosted on YouTube — are relaxation and mindfulness content, not therapy, counselling, or treatment for anxiety, depression, trauma, or any mental-health condition. Mixtuby does not select, endorse, or verify the credentials of the teachers whose recordings it links to. If a session leaves you distressed, disoriented, or worse than when you started, stop and speak to a healthcare professional. Meditation is not a substitute for professional mental-health care, and in a crisis you should contact your local emergency services.

These tools are not medical devices and are not intended to treat, cure, or prevent any condition, including insomnia. Individual results vary. Consult a healthcare professional for persistent sleep, breathing, or anxiety concerns.

Party (light show). Party shows flashing colours or filmed fireworks and, on some Android phones, can flash the phone's light. The flashes Party draws are limited to three per second, and the real fireworks in the filmed clips can flash too; this lowers the risk but does not remove it: do not use Party if you or anyone present is sensitive to flashing light, and do not point the phone's light at anyone's eyes.

Nightstand weather. The weather comes from a third party for an approximate place and may be wrong or for a nearby town; do not rely on it for safety decisions.

Some pages link to products on Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, Mixtuby earns from qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you. Prices, availability and the purchase itself are Amazon's, under Amazon's own terms; Mixtuby does not sell, ship or guarantee those products.

Flight Buddy's booking links and partner listings (such as flights on Aviasales, airport transfers, car hire, luggage storage, tickets for sights shown by Tiqets, city passes, data eSIMs, flight-delay claims and places to stay) open the partner's site through the Travelpayouts affiliate program; if you buy there, Mixtuby may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Prices, availability, the purchase and any changes or refunds are handled by that partner (and, for flights, the airline or agency you book with), under their own terms; Mixtuby does not sell tickets, city passes, transfers, car hire, luggage storage, eSIMs or accommodation and does not guarantee prices, schedules, availability or coverage. Flight prices shown in Flight Buddy are recent prices other travellers found, not live fares.

Drive and Run show a map, your speed, posted speed limits and optional routes using third-party OpenStreetMap-based services. They are a convenience for listening on the move — not a navigation, safety or speed-enforcement system. Speed limits may be missing, wrong or out of date; turn directions, spoken or shown, may be wrong, late or missing, and arrival times are traffic-free estimates; routes may be inaccurate, closed, unsafe or not permitted for your vehicle or on foot; your position and speed are estimates from your device and can be wrong. Always follow road signs, traffic rules and the conditions in front of you. Set Drive up before you set off, keep the phone in a fixed mount, and do not look at or operate it while driving beyond what the law where you are allows — stop safely or ask a passenger. When running, stay aware of traffic and your surroundings. Video when stopped shows the video only while your device reports the vehicle as stopped; that reading can be wrong. The over-limit beep is a convenience, not a warning system. Speed camera alerts are off by default and are for information only: they show fixed cameras recorded in OpenStreetMap, which may be missing, misplaced or out of date, and never show mobile cameras. We do not guarantee that any camera will be shown, or shown in time. Devices or apps that warn of speed cameras are prohibited in some countries (for example Germany, Switzerland and France); you alone are responsible for checking and obeying the law where you drive, and must not turn this option on where it is not allowed. Always obey road signs and speed limits whether or not an alert appears. You use Drive and Run at your own risk.

Flight Buddy gives general travel information as a convenience. Leaving times are traffic-free estimates with a fixed margin; country, airline and airport transport information is compiled by us and may be incomplete or out of date; forecasts and exchange rates come from third parties, and a reference rate is not the rate you will be charged. It is not travel, legal or immigration advice. Check entry rules and check-in and boarding times with official sources and your airline, and allow extra time; you remain responsible for your documents and for catching your flight.

Donations are voluntary and unlock no features or content. They are paid on PayPal, under PayPal's terms, where the recipient shown is the person who operates Mixtuby. Recurring donations can be cancelled anytime in your PayPal account. Refunds go through PayPal.

Pocket Tools gives estimates as a convenience. Exchange rates are the day’s reference rates from the European Central Bank and the National Bank of Romania, not the rate any exchange office, bank or card will charge you, and the extra cost shown for each kind of place is a typical figure from public sources. Unit, size, kitchen, trip-cost and date results are rounded and size charts vary by brand. Check the real price, rate or size before you pay, buy or travel.

Mixtuby is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Third-party instructional content. Categories such as "How It's Made" and "AI Future" link to videos published by third parties on YouTube. Mixtuby does not produce, verify, or endorse them, and nothing in them is professional advice. Repair, electrical, plumbing and similar work can be dangerous and may be regulated where you live — follow the applicable rules and use a qualified professional where one is required.

Third-party news. World News plays clips published by news organisations on their official YouTube channels. The list and its order are chosen automatically from how recent and how widely watched the clips are; Mixtuby does not select, edit, verify or endorse any story, and the views expressed are those of the publisher. News may include distressing material.

Third-party clips. Funny and New Music play clips published by their creators on YouTube. We choose which channels or charts the lists come from; the clips themselves, and the views in them, belong to their publishers, and Mixtuby does not edit or endorse them.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mixtuby shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for intent or gross negligence.

You may delete your account at any time from Profile Settings. Upon deletion, all your data (playlists, settings, personal information) will be permanently removed within 30 days.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. The "Last updated" date will reflect changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Romania.
