Adam Richard Wiles was born on January 17, 1984, in Dumfries, Scotland. He made his first album in his bedroom and was signed after posting songs on MySpace.

For several years he was the highest-paid DJ in the world, with residencies in Las Vegas and Ibiza.

History

I Created Disco came out in 2007 with Acceptable in the 80s. Ready for the Weekend in 2009 went to number one in the UK. 18 Months in 2012 was the first album to have nine UK top-ten singles, among them Feel So Close, Sweet Nothing and We Found Love with Rihanna.

Motion in 2014 had Summer and Blame.

This Is What You Came For with Rihanna (2016), One Kiss with Dua Lipa (2018), Promises with Sam Smith (2018) and Miracle with Ellie Goulding (2023) were released outside his albums. Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1, with Slide, came out in 2017 and Vol.

2 in 2022.

Legacy & Influence
