History

Whitney Houston, released in February 1985, became one of the best-selling debut albums ever, with Saving All My Love for You, How Will I Know and Greatest Love of All. Whitney followed in 1987 and debuted at number one, with I Wanna Dance with Somebody, and she became the first artist with seven consecutive US number ones.

I'm Your Baby Tonight came out in 1990. The Bodyguard soundtrack in 1992, with her version of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You, became the best-selling soundtrack of all time. My Love Is Your Love in 1998 had It's Not Right but It's Okay and Heartbreak Hotel.

Just Whitney (2002), the Christmas album One Wish (2003) and I Look to You (2009) were her last studio albums.
